As part of the objective of the Trust to enhance and support healthy, moral and spiritual living of the society and based on the requirements of the people of Arjunabettahalli village and surrounding areas, the Trust has been organizing and successfully conducting medical camps regularly, once every month, since May 2012 at Arjunabettahalli, Kasaba Hobli, Nelamangala Taluk, Bangalore Rural. This service is offered free of cost, in keeping with Bhagawan Baba’s teaching and example, “Service to God is service to humanity”.
The medical camps are aimed to serve the poor and needy people who are residing in and around the village, and the response so far has been very encouraging. On an average about seventy persons from the village and neighbouring areas are given medical checkup by a team of doctors and medical staff.
Patients are medically examined and advised further medical treatment for the relevant illnesses. Prescriptions are issued accordingly and medicines distributed free of cost.
At the end of the camp, food is also distributed to the needy, to all the participants as well as the patients.
The President of the Planning Authority, Nelamangala, the Panchayat President, local Authorities and MLAs representing the area, have visited the camps on different occasions and lauded the efforts taken by the Trust. Appreciating our developmental programmes for the village, they have further assured their support to the good cause.
